Department Overview

The Department of Commerce and Business Studies under Thakur School of Higher and Skill Education (TSHSE), TCETU offers industry-oriented education across commerce, finance, business analytics and emerging business domains. The department combines academic learning with industry exposure, technology and practical learning to develop globally competent professionals, entrepreneurs and responsible business leaders.

Its programmes span areas such as Business Analytics, Accounting & Finance, Investment Banking, FinTech with Artificial Intelligence and Capital Markets. The department also offers postgraduate programmes and doctoral research opportunities in specialised areas including Business Analytics & AI, Banking & Insurance, Securities Market, FinTech and Global Finance, preparing students for evolving opportunities across the business and financial ecosystem.
